Dr Philipa Munday

Philipa Munday – Optometrist • Graduated Melbourne University 2008 – Therapeutic Prescriber endorsed Philipa joined Dyson and Long in 2009, becoming a director in 2013. In 2017, along with Timothy Warr, Kenneth Long, and Cameron Dyson, she became a director of East Gippsland Eyecare. An East Gippsland local, she has quickly earned a loyal patient base and is currently a director and consulting optometrist across Dyson & Long and East Gippsland Eyecare. Philipa’s professional interests include behavioral optometry, children’s vision, and ocular disease management for people of all ages. She is known for her thorough approach to care and her approachable, friendly manner, which have earned her an excellent reputation among her patients. She has also worked at Nepal Eye Hospital with the Fred Hollows Foundation, as well as in remote outreach clinics providing eyecare and cataract screenings. Away from optometry, Philipa enjoys spending quality time with her young family and tending to her garden.
