Paula Mildenhall • Graduated from the University of Melbourne in 1994 Paula Mildenhall is a highly experienced optometrist in delivering exceptional eye care. With a focus on both vision correction and the management of ocular health including dry eye, Paula works closely with her patients to address their individual needs. Paula takes pride in educating her patients about their eye health and helping them make informed decisions about their vision. Known for her meticulous approach and patient-centred care, Paula is dedicated to ensuring that everyone she treats enjoys clear and healthy vision for years to come. Outside of work, Paula enjoys pampering her cats and caring for her garden.

Jade Lindsay • Graduated from the University of Melbourne in 2016 as a Doctor of Optometry. Jade commenced private practice with an independent optometry clinic in Dubbo, before moving to Bairnsdale and joining Dyson & Long and East Gippsland Eyecare in 2019. She is committed to providing thorough, personalised care with a focus on prevention and early detection of eye conditions. Jade stays at the forefront of optometric advancements to ensure her patients receive the best possible care, from routine eye exams to advanced treatment options.

Philipa Munday – Optometrist • Graduated Melbourne University 2008 – Therapeutic Prescriber endorsed Philipa joined Dyson and Long in 2009, becoming a director in 2013. In 2017, along with Timothy Warr, Kenneth Long, and Cameron Dyson, she became a director of East Gippsland Eyecare. An East Gippsland local, she has quickly earned a loyal patient base and is currently a director and consulting optometrist across Dyson & Long and East Gippsland Eyecare. Philipa’s professional interests include behavioral optometry, children’s vision, and ocular disease management for people of all ages. She is known for her thorough approach to care and her approachable, friendly manner, which have earned her an excellent reputation among her patients. She has also worked at Nepal Eye Hospital with the Fred Hollows Foundation, as well as in remote outreach clinics providing eyecare and cataract screenings. Away from optometry, Philipa enjoys spending quality time with her young family and tending to her garden.

Cameron Dyson • Graduated Melbourne University 1987 • Graduate Certificate in Ocular Therapeutics 2002 Cameron began optometry services in Bairnsdale in 1992. Along with Philipa Munday, Kenneth Long and Timothy Warr became a director of East Gippsland Eyecare in December 2017. Cameron remains a director and consulting optometrist at Dyson & Long and East Gippsland Eyecare, his professional interests include technological advances in eye disease management, custom optical lens design, and rural optometry services. Away from optometry, Cameron’s interests include paragliding, cycling, snowboarding and camping.

Wendy Dawson • Graduated as a Doctor of Optometry from Melbourne University in 2017. Originally from East Gippsland, Wendy joined Dyson & Long and East Gippsland Eyecare in 2018, where she has since become a valued and active member of our optometry team. Known for building strong rapport with her patients, Wendy ensures they feel comfortable and well cared for while receiving the highest standard of care.
