Lauren holds a Bachelor of Physiotherapy (Honours) from Australian Catholic University and has since developed a strong clinical focus for musculoskeletal and sports physiotherapy. Lauren is passionate about empowering people through rehab and takes a thorough, evidence-based approach to injury management.
She has a particular interest in addressing complex hip and groin presentations and supporting women through their athletic careers, across all levels. She is currently the VFLW Rehabilitation Physiotherapist at Williamstown FC and has previously worked with Werribee FC (VFLM), Queensland Academy of Sport Rugby (Development teams), and Wilston Grange AFC (QAFLW).
Clinically, Lauren uses a combination of hands-on therapy and dry needling with progressive strength and conditioning principles. She is trained in Clinical Pilates and integrates it into her rehab programs to optimise movement, control, and performance. Lauren is also skilled in vestibular physiotherapy where she assesses, treats and manages several dizziness, balance and concussion disorders. She is a clear communicator and strong advocate for patient education, ensuring every client understands their injury and is actively involved in their rehab journey.
Outside of the clinic, Lauren is completing her PhD at the Australian Catholic University’s SPRINT Research Centre, where she is investigating hip and groin pain in female athletes—focusing on identifying key risk factors. She is also a university-level academic, teaching evidence-based practice to future physiotherapists and exercise scientists.
Lauren’s unique blend of clinical, research, and academic experience allows her to bring the latest evidence into practice. She understands the physical and mental demands of high-performance sport and everyday movement alike and is committed to helping each person return to the activities they love—stronger, more confident, and better informed.
Beyond physiotherapy, Lauren is a sports enthusiast, pilates and gym goer, and loves to read a good book.
