  • Sheila Lam graduated with a Master of Clinical Optometry and Bachelor of Vision Science (Distinction) from the University of New South Wales. She is therapeutically endorsed to prescribe ophthalmic medications. Sheila has a special interest in myopia management, advanced contact lenses (including keratoconus and RGP fitting), and the management of ocular diseases. She is the current Chair of Young Optometrists, a volunteer organisation that supports and empowers early-career optometrists and students. Sheila also serves a Clinical Excellence and Education Consultant for Menicon Australia, a committee member of the Cornea and Contact Lens Society of Australia (CCLSA) and a member of the Orthokeratology Society of Oceania (OSO). Sheila holds professional certifications in evidence-based myopia control strategies, including MiYOSMART (HOYA), Stellest (Essilor), ACUVUE® Abiliti® 1-Day (Johnson & Johnson), and MiSight® (CooperVision). Fluent in English and Vietnamese, Sheila is passionate about providing comprehensive, personalised eye care. Outside of work, she enjoys exploring new cuisines and spending time with family and friends.
