As a child, Dr Silas was drawn to biology and knew from an early age that health care was where he wanted to further his studies. He loves bringing a smile to someone’s face. Whether it’s relieving a patient from a toothache or helping a patient smile with confidence, Dr Silas loves helping others. He prides himself on the quality of his work and handling the comfort of his patients throughout dental procedures. Dentistry is a career that requires lifelong learning and Dr Silas goes above and beyond to ensure that he is continually upgrading his skills. He takes professional development courses two to three times a year because he wants to give his patients the very best in dental care. Dr Silas has taken courses in restorative, adhesive and CEREC (same-day ceramic restorations) dentistry. Dr Silas Prashant graduated in India with his BDS in 2001. Looking for a better balance between work and family, he relocated to Australia and took the Australian Dental Council Examination. Dr Silas has been a member of the Australian Dental Association since 2007. When he’s not at First Impressions Dental he is helping patients at our Cedric Street Dental sister site.

Dr Preetinder Sidhu is a highly experienced and compassionate dentist with over a decade of clinical expertise across all areas of dentistry. Based in Australia, Dr Sidhu is known for providing comprehensive, patient-focused care, blending advanced techniques with a gentle and reassuring approach. Dr Sidhu focuses on general dentistry, complex surgical extractions, dental implants, and clear aligner therapy. She handles everything from routine check-ups and full-mouth rehabilitations to dentures and smile transformations with clear aligners—always aiming to help patients achieve optimal oral health and confident smiles. She values honesty, clear communication, and teamwork, and takes pride in building long-term relationships with her patients. Beyond the clinic, Dr Sidhu enjoys travelling, creating meaningful memories, and spending quality time with her family and friends. Dr Sidhu speaks English, Punjabi, and Hindi.
