Dr Owen Chin

Owen is your happy friendly dentist who is easy to get along with. With a perfectionist attitude to his work, dentistry comes naturally, allowing him to aim for the best every time. Having graduated from UWA with a Bachelor of Dental Science degree and a Bachelor of Science in Dentistry Honours degree, he has worked many years in private practice, spending time in Ellenbrook, Mundaring, and primarily in Thornlie before taking over the reins of Gledden Dental. Owen offers both Fast Braces and Clear Correct (invisible aligners) in addition to the wide range of dental treatments available at Gledden Dental. Owen still continues to spend time at the Dental School at UWA, providing clinical tutoring for the dental students. He finds it highly rewarding and satisfying passing on helpful hints to the up and coming dentists. Owen has also completed research at UWA investigating the use of Virtual Reality technologies for teaching dental students hand skills required for restorative dentistry. Away from work, Owen enjoys getting involved with many things technical and mechanical. He enjoys playing badminton and escaping to the outdoors whenever there is time away.
