Jatin Kumar

With nearly 15 years of experience in dentistry — including the past five years practising in Melbourne — Dr Jatin Kumar provides a comprehensive range of treatments with a focus on patient comfort and care. His clinical expertise includes surgical removal of wisdom teeth, root canal therapy, crowns, veneers, smile design, and a special interest in dental implants. Since graduating from Genesis Dental College in India in 2010, Dr Kumar has worked across both public and private sectors, including at St Andrew’s Hospital in Toowoomba. He is fluent in English, Hindi, and Punjabi, allowing him to connect easily with a diverse range of patients and ensure accessible care. Outside of dentistry, Dr Kumar enjoys spending quality time with his wife and colleague, Dr Anu Bala, and their two daughters. He also finds joy in painting and playing badminton. Coming from a family of healthcare professionals — with a retired surgeon father and a dentist sister — he brings both passion and a deep sense of responsibility to his work. Dr Kumar is dedicated to understanding his patients’ needs and always prioritises their wellbeing.
