Dr Veena Jain is an energetic and caring dentist with over 10 years of experience in dentistry. Dr Jain graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2008 and she also holds a Master’s degree in Health Sciences form the University of Western Sydney. Her warm and caring nature helps many of her patients to feel comfortable and at ease. Dr Jain’s interested in a conservative and preventative approach to dentistry for both adults and children. She takes part in continuing her education to remain up to date on the latest techniques for providing a high level of care. Dr Jain shares a strong passion for commitment to excellence, care and innovation, offering our patients gentle dentistry with a holistic approach.

Dr. Rodrigo is a dedicated and passionate dentist with over five years of experience in the field, primarily in endodontics. He firmly believes that through motivation and education, optimal oral health can be achieved. Dr. Rodrigo is committed to making dental visits an enjoyable experience for his patients, leveraging his friendly personality and strong interpersonal skills. Dr. Rodrigo has a special interest in endodontics and holds an overseas postgraduate diploma in endodontics and emergency treatment. For the last three years, Dr. Rodrigo has been performing root canal treatments daily, gaining highly skilled training in this area. This ensures that his patients receive expert care during critical dental situations. Originally from Brazil, Dr. Rodrigo earned his Bachelor of Dental Surgery degree and further enriched his education through an exchange study period at the University of Adelaide. This international experience has broadened his perspective and enhanced his dental practice. Outside of his professional life, Dr. Rodrigo enjoys engaging in outdoor activities such as running and CrossFit, often accompanied by his wife. The beautiful city of Adelaide has become their home, where they relish the vibrant community and active lifestyle it offers.

Dr Gurpreet Kaur pursued her dream of being a dentist after graduating with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery at the Baba Farid University of Health Sciences in India. After completing her studies, Dr Kaur practiced as a general dentist in India for seven years before moving to Australia in 2015. Once she settled in Australia, Dr Kaur undertook further studies so that her qualification as a dentist would be recognised in Australia. Dr Kaur’s real passion lies in providing the highest level of dental care for her patients in a warm and caring environment. She has a special knack for relaxing nervous patients in the chair and finds changing the stigma around going to the dentist very fulfilling. Dr Kaur provides dental care ranging from routine family check-ups to more advanced treatments, including root canals, crowns, and bridges. She particularly enjoys treating children and teaching them the importance of good dental habits, setting them up for a healthy mouth for life. Dr Kaur truly believes that there is nothing more satisfying than getting a patient out of pain and seeing a smile on their face. Dr Kaur is committed to keeping up to date with continued professional development and regularly attends lectures and courses to ensure that her dental work is of the highest quality. She is also a member of the Australian Dental Association and is fluent in English, Hindi and Punjabi. Outside of her practice, Dr Kaur enjoys spending quality time with her family, catching up with friends and travelling!

Dr Lucy Ryan graduated with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery from the University of Adelaide and has spent the last three years working in Whyalla and Adelaide. Dr Lucy Ryan enjoys all aspects of general dentistry and believes in a preventative and minimally invasive approach. She also has a special interest in helping dentally anxious patients to overcome their fears. In her spare time, Lucy enjoys playing music in various ensembles and is studying for an undergraduate degree part-time.

Dr Sergi graduated from the university of Adelaide in 1983 and has a wide and extensive clinical background having previously worked in country Victoria, private general practice and medium corporate business in Adelaide. He enjoys most facets of dental including dental Implants, crowns and promoting dental health. With a relaxed and calming disposition, patient care is paramount. Dr Frank enjoys his coffee, reliving Monty Python classics and spending time with is family and golden retriever Bailey. During his down time in the warmer months, you'll often find on the cricket field and advocating the South Australian Veterans Cricket Association and men's health.

Dr. Shweta Malik is a dedicated dental professional who understands the vital role of regular dental care in achieving lasting oral health. With a gentle and compassionate approach, she takes pride in building strong relationships with her patients, ensuring they feel comfortable and valued during every visit. Having earned her Bachelor of Dental Surgery over 14 years ago, Dr. Malik is committed to ongoing professional development, regularly attending courses to stay abreast of the latest advancements in dentistry. This dedication empowers her to provide the highest standard of care tailored to each individual’s unique needs. With a strong focus on preventive and restorative dentistry, Dr. Malik excels in a range of procedures, from implants and root canals to cosmetic treatments. She is dedicated to creating a positive and comfortable experience for her patients, ensuring they feel at ease every step of the way. Outside of her practice, Dr. Malik enjoys travelling and immersing herself in new cultures, as well as expressing her creativity through painting. Dentist Dr Marcio Maia has 17+ years of dental experience and a keen interest in research and teaching. He obtained a Bachelor of Dentistry in 2006 and pursued further studies in Endodontics and Implant Dentistry, becoming a specialist in both fields in Brazil. Dr Maia went on to earn a Master’s degree in Dentistry and has been a Professor of Implant Dentistry for over 4 years at the University of Redentor’s post-graduation program in Juiz de Fora, Brazil. He has also lectured at various dental conferences in Brazil and Australia, including the CIOSP and IN. Dr Maia currently works as an Associate Dentist at National Dental Care South Terrace. He enjoys surfing, Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, Chess, Jazz, and Bossa Nova, and is passionate about his family and faith. Dr Maia is fluent in Portuguese, English, and Spanish, and is currently learning French.

Dr Krishna Girija graduated from Mahatma Gandhi University in Kerala, India in 2011.She has been working in private practices in the South and West of Adelaide for a few years before joining National Dental Care. Dr Krishna believes in providing a gentle and comfortable experience for her patients whilst providing comprehensive dental care and enjoys all aspects of dentistry, with a special interest in preventative and restorative dentistry. Outside of work, Krishna is busy with her young kids and enjoys spending quality time with family and friends and travelling.

Nicole has been in the dental industry for 18 years, 12 of those years as a Dental Hygienist. She started her career as a dental assistant in 2005, but her dream was to be always a Hygienist. She achieved this and studied the Advanced Diploma of Oral Health at TAFE SA graduating in 2010. She loves seeing nervous patients helping them through their dental fears. Nicole believes in a holistic approach to her treatment and understands her patients needs and concerns. Her passion is smile transformations using whitening treatments. She is a mum of two incredible children a son and a daughter. In her spare time she is a plus size model/body positivity activist and belly dancer.

With over seven years of clinical experience, Dr Jainy Shah enjoys all areas of general dentistry, with a special interest in aesthetic restorations and cosmetic procedures, root canals and crowns. She believes in a minimally invasive approach to help patients achieve long-lasting results and maintain good oral health. With a friendly disposition and a strong passion for dentistry, Dr Shah ensures her patients are at ease and receive only the highest quality dental care.

Lead Dentist Dr Michael Lucas completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1993 from Adelaide University. Immediately he began working in private practice in the south western suburbs of Adelaide creating one of Adelaide’s most prestigious and well known practices. After 28 years of practicing, he decided to take a break and spend the last few years helping out fellow colleagues in their dental practices to help spread his knowledge and skills. This has seen him working across Adelaide and up into the beautiful Barossa Valley. Dr Lucas brings with him over 30 years of dental knowledge and expertise in his field. He has a passion for helping people overcome their dental worries and is known for being a patient, gentle practitioner with a straight forward approach. His primary focus is on preventative dentistry and the importance of maintaining functional healthy teeth for life. His real passion is creating beautiful smiles with the latest in digital computer aided ceramic restorations , and will regularly complete entire smile makeover cases. Implants, Root canals and extractions there is not much he doesn’t enjoy doing in Dentistry making it as pleasurable for patients as possible. Passion is what you will see first and with his caring and sometimes cheeky nature you will understand that he treats you like one of his family caring about your general wellbeing. Dr Lucas is committed to continuing education through the ADA and other education groups, and has served on a number of ADA South Australian study committees. Outside of the surgery Michael has a strong passion for cooking, the outdoors and especially fishing. Linking with him on social media pages you will see he enjoys creating a storm in the kitchen and travelling around Australia to see our beautiful scenery and to try his luck at catching a fish. In 2008 Michael branched from dentistry and begun Pro Fishing Charters SA, taking clients fishing around our great state of South Australia of which he still actively runs today on his weekends.

Madi has been working in the dental industry for over 10 years, starting as a Dental Assistant, then in 2021 completing her Advanced Diploma of Oral Health and working as a Hygienist. Madi is really passionate about Oral Health education and providing tailored treatment where her patients feel comfortable. In Madi's spare time she loves to be with her 2 young kids and dog. She enjoys travelling, being out in nature and experiencing new things.
