Holly had an interest in dentistry from a young age. “My dentist from my childhood was a family friend, so I was never afraid of going to the dentist.” She also developed an interest in providing oral healthcare because her grandmother was diagnosed with oral cancer. Holly is passionate about providing preventative dental care. I want patients to enjoy optimal oral health. Education Growing up in Christchurch, Holly moved to Brisbane at the end of 1999. She earned a Bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences. She then worked full-time in a microbiology lab for a few years before pursuing dentistry. Holly studied at Griffith University on the Gold Coast for five years. She earned a Diploma Of Dentistry from Griffith in Bachelor of Dental Health Science.

Dr Annabel was inspired to become a dentist when she had orthodontics as a teenager and experienced first-hand the transformative power of having the confidence to smile. Education & Memberships To prepare for her dental career, Dr Annabel earned a Bachelor of Oral Health in Dental Science and Graduate Diploma of Dentistry (both with Academic Excellence) from Griffith University in 2013. In 2015, she earned a Graduate Diploma of Orthodontics through the City of London Dental School. One of the areas she studied was early intervention orthodontics for children. Dr Annabel has also taken professional development courses in prosthodontics and aesthetic dentistry. She is an active member of the Australian Dental Association and the Australian Prosthodontics Society. For Dr Annabel, the most fulfilling aspects of being a dentist are restoring oral function and aesthetics, and working with nervous patients to overcome anxiety surrounding dental treatment.

Dr Jacqueline received her dental science degree from the University of Queensland in 2005. For two years she practiced dentistry for Queensland Health until deciding to travel overseas to extend her education. Her studies led her to receiving a Master of Dental Science with a specialty in prosthodontics in 2010 from the National Yang Ming University in Taiwan. Dr Jacqueline was also awarded the Dental Board of Queensland Prize in Oral Pathology and Oral Medicine in 2004. In 2010, she represented Yang Ming University at the International Association of Dental Research (IADR) in Barcelona and was further invited to present at the FDI World Dental Federation in Salvador da Bahia later in the year. Extremely fluent in both English and Mandarin Chinese, Dr Jacqueline also has an understanding of the Taiwanese dialect, allowing her to serve a diversity of people in the Brisbane CBD area.

As a child, Dr Tom loved visiting the dentist for his checkup and cleans, and as he got older, it became clear to him that he wanted to bring the same joy to people that he experienced as a child visiting the dentist. He went on to obtain a Bachelor of Dental Studies and a Bachelor of Dental Science, as well as a Graduate Diploma of Clinical Dentistry (Implants) from the University of Melbourne. Before joining Brisbane CBD Dental Clinic, he worked as a Dental Officer in the Australian Army. In addition to helping keep a beautiful smile on his patient’s faces, Dr Tom has a unique interest in cosmetic and restorative dentistry, taking additional coursework in implants and prosthodontics. My greatest goal is to help my patients smile again and restore proper wellness to their oral health.
