Dr. Sun performs all general dentistry with a special interest in restorative dentistry. With his kind, friendly and caring personality Dr. Sun always has his patients’ best interest at heart. He particularly enjoys the cosmetic/aesthetic aspect of dentistry.Born in China, Dr. Sun relocated to Brisbane 2005 and is a permanent resident of Australia. He is looking forward to providing excellent dental care to his patients in the Sunnybank community. He prides himself on his ability to build a good rapport with all his patients.Dr. Sun enjoys basketball, chess, music, and reading when not in surgery. He also loves to travel whenever he gets the chance.

I graduated from the University of Queensland in 2006 and I am registered with the Australian Dental Board. After graduating I worked in the public health sector for Queensland Health at Nambour Hospital on the Sunshine Coast. I moved back to Brisbane in 2010 and joined the NDC Market Square Sunnybank team.I am proficient in all aspects of dentistry especially in root therapy, crowns, bridges, oral surgery and implant dentistry. I enjoy treating my patients and I treat them all with the upmost respect, professionalism and care. I regularly attend continuing educational courses to keep up with modern trends.I am fluent in English, Mandarin and Cantonese. My beautiful wife Alice and I have two children, Evan and Eva, who keep us very busy at all times. I enjoy playing different sports, especially table tennis and basketball. When time permits I enjoy a nice meal and watching comedy and science fiction movies.

I graduated from University of Queensland in 1989 with Honours and am a member of the Australian Dental Association. Following graduation I worked for 10 years in the Bundaberg / Gayndah and Monto regions in both Government and private practice.Since returning to Brisbane in 2000, I have worked in both private and Government clinics and joined the Market Square Dental Team in 2014.I have experience in children’s dentistry, happy gas, general dentistry and constantly update my skills and knowledge by continuing education courses in Australia and overseas.Growing up, I had the fortunate experience to live in many places across Australia. I enjoy watching and being an “armchair” expert on many sports and with 4 children I am also busy with gymnastics, soccer, swimming, music and learner drivers!

I graduated from Queensland University in 1992 and have been in private general dental practice since graduation. I am registered with the Dental Board of Qld and am a member of the Australian Dental Association. I perform all aspects of general dentistry and have undergone further studies in Orthodontics and Paediatric Dentistry. These further studies have led to qualifications received from both Adelaide and Queensland Universities. I completed my Fellowship from the International College of Continuing Dental Education with Distinction in the field of Orthodontics in General Practice. I regularly attend numerous conferences and postgraduate courses both locally and around Australia. I am accredited to provide Invisalign treatment to patients as an alternative to conventional orthodontics.When I am not caring for patients, I enjoy spending time with my family. My beautiful wife Miranda and our four children keep me busy outside of the practice.I am fluent in Cantonese and enjoy a game of tennis when time permits.
