Hello! I’m Jonathan, a new dentist at Marius Street Family Dental. I have moved to Tamworth with my partner to join the team. I am excited to meet you and work together to ensure that you receive quality dental care. Dental problems can be stressful, so I will make it a priority to ensure you understand your concerns and are comfortable during each visit. Although I grew up in Sydney, I have been all across Victoria to complete my dental degree at La Trobe University. I have met many remarkable people along the way, and have grown to appreciate the regional community and lifestyle. In my free time I enjoy going to the gym, bouldering, gaming, watching shows, or catching up with my friends. If you know of any good fishing or hiking spots be sure to let me know – I’m still trying to catch my first fish!

Hello I am Joshua, I have recently joined the team here at Marius Street Family Dental. A little bit about myself, I was born in a small, multicultural country called Malaysia. Growing up I was fortunate to be able to interact with people from different backgrounds and therefore speak three different languages. I graduated the University of Queensland with a Bachelor of Dental Science (Honours). As a dental practitioner, I enjoy doing all aspects of dentistry and I take the time to ensure that my patients are well looked after. I am a very firm believer in giving back to society and therefore volunteer regularly to provide people in rural areas with basic dental care, treatment and oral health. Hi, my name is Amy and I am one of the dentists here at Marius Street Family Dental. I am originally from Sydney, and moved to Tamworth after completing my studies at La Trobe University, where I obtained a Bachelor of Health Sciences in Dentistry and Master of Dentistry degree. Throughout my training, I have served diverse communities across Victoria, including Ballarat, Mildura and Melton. My passion for dentistry extends to various aspects, with a particular focus on cosmetic and restorative dentistry. I firmly believe that oral health is an integral aspect of overall wellbeing, and I am committed to ensuring the best possible care for our patients. To continue my professional education and stay up-to-date with new research, I regularly attend seminars and workshops. Outside of dentistry, I love spending quality time with family and friends, and exploring new places for delicious food. I look forward to meeting you!

Hi I'm Christine! I moved to Tamworth to join the Marius St Family Dental team in 2022 with my partner. Originally from Sydney, I completed my Dental degree at the University of Queensland. After I graduated, I gained a experience in private practices in Brisbane and Rockhampton prior to moving here. As a dentist, I love to help my patients achieve confidence in their smiles. I enjoy doing cosmetic dentistry and large restorative cases involving building up and redesigning the bite. I joined the Marius team as they have a commitment to having the latest technology, using the best techniques and materials, and this is what I am interested in. I am doing further study in digital dentistry and using software to simulate and design our restorations, which gives much more predictable outcomes. I place a strong focus on high quality, patient -orientated care. I am also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin Chinese. Outside of work, I am passionate about food and travel. I love trying out new recipes or planning my next adventure. I am also a dedicated tennis fan and love watching a good match.

For 25 years I have enjoyed bringing happiness to people’s smiles, helping people let go of their fears, and building confidence to accept periodic dental procedures. I am passionate about preventative dental care, improving smiles, restoring space and function, and motivating people to maintaining their dentition, prostheses, and function for long term. Dentistry is forever developing. I am committed to continued learning and expanding my skills using the latest digital technology to bring more assurance and predictability to our work. In my spare time, the six children keep me very busy and on my toes. I love cooking and spending time with my toy poodles. There is nothing better than cuddling my little fur babies after a long day’s work. And the secret to keeping me sane after each school holidays with the children.

Right from the first year after graduation, I studied aesthetic smile design. In other words, how to improve your smile in a way that looks natural. Since, I have used white fillings (direct composite veneers) to build many, may new smiles, which gives a result on the day and at an affordable price. During my time working in Inverell, I also expanded my knowledge in general dentistry. I also gained experience at a high-end dental clinic on the Central Coast learning to restore teeth with porcelain veneers. I further continued my studies in occlusion, the science of how to building up the teeth so that they come together properly. This restores your smile and chewing function in a permanent way. My training then continued into dental implants, starting with replacing one tooth at a time to now replacing all missing teeth predictably. I believe in providing a result that not only looks great but also gives you the ability to chew your food without trouble. Some of my patients simply want to keep their teeth without knowing that their smile can also be improved at the same time; and this does not necessarily result in a huge bill. I would like to express my gratitude to the Tamworth community and to all my patients for making me feel welcome and supporting me ever since I first arrived in 2002. I hope that I reflect this in my work and the way that I try to help my patients.

Hi, my name is Krysten, I am a Dentist at Marius Street Family Dental. I moved to Tamworth at the start of 2017. I come from a small town called Baranduda, near Albury-Wodonga in North East Victoria. Tamworth is a similar size to Albury-Wodonga, which I much prefer to any of the capital cities. I graduated from La Trobe University in Bendigo in 2016. I enjoy all aspects of general dentistry, in particular minimally invasive and restorative dentistry. In my spare time I enjoy mountain bike riding, bush walking and going to the gym. I also have 3 beautiful cats.
